oh boy!!

Good Day-
I have just returned from Utah, which was so much fun. It was very refeshing to hang with Kathleen. I felt very at home and peaceful with her. I forgot home and the changing thats been going on. We did so much: water balloon fights, horse in the pool (i won!!), a "fun run", we visited deaf ppl and i learned some asl, we made oragami lizards, we also made those weed necklaces but it was so long we hung it across our room, basketball with a huge plastic bouncy ball, we visited the byu life science museum where we saw the star ligar of napoleon dynamite (she was dead and stuffed however) and the art museum, we also spent a lot of time in the on campus outdoors store where she read about rock climbing and i read about backpacking, walked around the bookstore looking at journals, interperatated dreams, talked, saw kaitlyn who was at efy camp, played some hacky sack and made some interesting friends. I went to church with her and that was cool. LDS do this thing called a testimony where they explain an experience that made them believe. It was neat bc I really think it helps to strengthen your faith. A lot of kids went up and said that their parents didnt really support them coming to byu but that it was a sacrifice. It made me so sad to think that parents would be that stuborn adn it must be so hard for the kids to believe in something and love something so much and not be able to share that with theie family. Im lucky, very lucky that I have a family and friends who inspire, encourage and support me and my spiritual beliefs. I also fasted. ITs called fast sunday and they do it wonce a month and your not supposed to eat or drink till 3pm and you fast for someone. i fasted for three someones bc i figured im not used to it os therefore im allowed more ppl for my starvation period. I tried to pray for them every time i realized i was hungry. It was very hard but really cool and i hope it weill help those people. Well i leave on friday for Concordia University Irvine. I have a lot of things to do in the next couple of days (hence the "oh boy" tittle) like visit with my close friends tell them i LOVE them, pack, and shop. Im really excited although i know everything will be dif. when i come back. Im ready to start anew, forget the past troubles and remember the good memories. I had my last guitar lesson today which was sad. My teacher is way cool and I admire him so much. Its wierd i only took lessons for 4 days but i got to know him really well and liked his teaching. He always said i was good even when i know that i messed up bc of nerves. He gave me a new song to learn and im super stoked about it. ITs JASON MRAZ yeah!!! you and i both. So im really excited to play it and get it right then im going to buy a guitar tab book of john mayer. However im excited to find my new guitar soulmate who will help me in my quest to be john mayer's wife, jk ha (maybe not). I hope they will be kind and aid me in my endeavor. Allright well I have to go and check off some things on my to do list. Hope you all in SB had a fun and safe trip.
